Far East Movement Pumping Up The ‘Dirty Bass’ in May

After scoring some out-of-nowhere success at the top of the Hot 100, “Like a G6” auteurs Far*East Movement will issue their sophomore album, “Dirty Bass,” on May 8 through Cherrytree/Interscope Records.

The follow-up to 2010’s “Free Wired” has already been previewed by lead single “Live My Life,” which features the one and only Justin Bieber, as well as “Candy,”  which was used in the party film “Project X” and includes a guest spot by Pitbull. “Live My Life,” which was produced by RedOne, hit iTunes on Feb. 28 and is expected to make waves on this week’s Hot 100.

Meanwhile, the music video for “Live My Life” will be filmed this Tuesday (March 6) in Amsterdam, and will be directed by another pop music provocateur who knows his way around a party: LMFAO‘s Redfoo. The Party Rocker will make his directorial debut and pop up in the clip, which will feature both the original song as well was Redfoo’s “Party Rock remix” in a colorful mash-up, according to a press release.

“The ‘Live My Life’ Party Rock music video is going to be bananas,” says Far*East member Kev Nish. “It’s definitely a party you won’t want to miss.”

Last week, LMFAO announced that Far*East Movement would be featured as opening acts during select dates on their Sorry For Party Rocking trek, which kicks off in Columbus, Ohio on May 22.
